Hi all!
So I have heard that a french mag has snapped topless pics of Kate Middleton.
Why is this news? Prince Harry was pictured naked in a hotel room (personally, he's 27..grow up!) lol..
Kate was photographed where her and William thought was a private setting (some house in france..), the royals want to take legal action.
Personally, my opinion is leave them alone! They're a married couple relaxing with one another.
Honestly..who cares? i kinda feel bad for them but on the other hand I feel like Kate knew what she was getting in to.
I really don't follow the royals like I know some people most likely do..I kinda stumbled across this story and i guess I thought it was interesting.
I think we all kinda wonder: what would it be like to live like that?
I really dunno, part of me likes to think I'd just tell the photographers off..but then that's not royal-like lol!
I just think it's a shame that they thought they were in private and safe. It's not the same at all what happened to Harry. He was partying in Las Vegas and shouldn't have been surprised about the pictures, and really, why does the royal family let him go to Vegas anyway? He always gets into trouble there. But as far as Kate sunbathing in privacy, I do think it's a
shame that the media is hounding her just like they did Princess Diana.
This pathetic need to know every detail about people's lives is out of control. Photographers hound and harass people all the time, take photos, and then people on the internet create topics where people discuss it, therefore it carries on. Millions of people who have never and will never meet them are talking about them like they know the first thing about them. Do you think people are their genuine selves in front of cameras, and in interviews? Of course they aren't. Your being sold a lie every time you listen to any kind of so-called celebrity gossip.
And being more case specific, who cares who is topless anyway? I'm topless right now? Quick! Call the paparazzi! Sometimes wives get naked in front of their husbands. Imagine if every time you tried to do that somebody was lurking outside trying to take a photo? Its disgusting.
Although the royal family is built on greed, robbery and suppression anyway so i guess they are getting what they deserve. I just wish I understood why people bothered to even take the information in. Most people in this country probably had ancestors who got screwed out of everything they own by that family of inbred thieving tax avoiding scumbags.

of course people aren't themselves being interviewed.. I do wonder if them 2 even have any close friends? people they can trust to just chill with?
And Ce yes, I do agree with you about the whole taking pictures.
as has been said, why do people care so much about knowing details of everyone's lives?
and, why does it matter whether the couple in question is married? they shit, sleep, eat, and put on their pants like we do, so why does society hold celebrities to a higher status? it's fucking ridiculous.
I have never understood this need to know every detail of celebrity lives either. Just look at the proliferation of tabloid TV shows such as Entertainment Tonight and all of its copycat shows, not to mention all the print media dedicated to every detail of their lives and all the websites. It is most definitely out of control.

However, not all the blame goes to shows like that..for I know that some celebs do stuff to get and keep there name out there. though I don't think will and Kate did that here..just making a point.
Makes money. People pay for it.
I think if you are that type of person you have to protect yourself. Have you rooms swept, and such things to make sure you are private. If you go out in public and do something admit "yea, I was doing X and Y. That way the public will just have to deal.
This won't go away and is getting worse.
For those Americans who get so caught up with royalty, playing at princess, and wishing to be that: First, consider the fate of Marien Antoinette. And second, you animals ought to be listening to what Cam aka CSection says: it's a pretty common feeling among the UK population, a population of people who live with the consequences of royalty. Just sayin', there's more to it than the castles and rituals. Ther's a lot of middle class money spent on their maintenance.
Were it in America 15 years ago, on our TV they'd have called such spending "The fleecing of America."
As an Aussie, it's really none of my concern although it is annoying when the Royal couple are constantly filling up the News. It's massive though because we as a nation are under the Queen, our Taxes go to them, we use them as face and image for our Nation. As with America nad other Independant countries, they don't need to worry about the Royals for they only have their Presidents to follow. I'm not even sure how much Royal coverage they get there but here, it's massive when it comes to Prince Harry, the Queen or people like that.
Not being from the UK or aus, you're right there's a lot I myself do not know. and yes, Marie is a good example! (I've been to her palace in France..and let me say that if I were a starving french person I'd done the same thing seeing how pricy her palace was..) back in the day and whatnot.
Just 1 more thing bout this...I just don't think it's right that Kate and Will sue to get millions of dollars..I mean, come on guys, you're rich enough! Though I totally do disagree the photographers snapping away at there private moment..but still!
If the strangers living next door to us were subject to the decidedly strict moral code we put on the famous, they would claim we are living in a police state. OK, so Mrs. Jones down the street is getting a divorce because Mr. Jones had an affair with the babysitter. Nah, no big deal, it's their life. But if some famous blond-haired chick or other bares a bit of woman-flesh, there goes the neighborhood, and how do you explain it to your freckle-faced innocent children?

I'm sure you could have him write away. All you need to do is let royal officials dig up every family secret, go through every bit of your life with a fine tooth comb, and then let them analyse your blood to see if its pure enough to breed with a royal. Sounds fun right? Good luck.

I heard a story (dunno if it's true..) that before charles married diana she was looked at to see if she was a virgin or not. I mean, come on! At least i can say that Will and Kate have dragged the royal family in to the modern age. and Diana and charles were married in the 80's and the royal supposedly did that to her! come on so stupid rediculous!
